About The Role
Location: Washington Hours: Monday to Friday 50 hours per week Salary: Potential Earnings 40,950 pa dependent on experience and inclusive of overtime The Job We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team in Washington. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the efficient and safe operations of our field-based engineers.
Your responsibilities
will include assisting with the planning and coordination of engineering activities, performing site Health & Safety audits, ensuring the team is properly equipped, and maintaining a professional and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with planning and coordinating the activities of the engineering team to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required standard. Being the first point of contact for the operatives and supporting them with problem solving for any drainage related issues. Customer/Client interaction- providing timescales and being a contact to answer any questions or queries they may have Perform Health & Safety audits on-site and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Ensure that the team has the necessary equipment, information, and resources to complete work efficiently and safely.
Assisting in managing the companys vehicles and plant within the depot, ensuring they are properly calibrated, serviced, and maintained. Maintain the fleet and equipment in a condition that reflects the companys professional image and commitment to Health & Safety. Oversee the efficient scheduling of work to maximise productivity and asset usage.
About You
Previous experience in drainage or utilities is preferred, but not essential. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of field-based engineers. A full UK driving licence is required. Ability to schedule and prioritise tasks effectively to optimise workflow and asset usage.
