JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for overseeing logistics and dog training services including creating and monitoring drivers routes with Samsara, coordinating bookings, onboarding new customers, troubleshooting customer concerns, ensuring the safety and care of dogs on route and on trail, monitoring and tracking sales statistics, assisting with phone calls, and account maintenance.

  • Oversee and ensure best practices for logistics and training services including a team of seven drivers/hikers
  • Provide superior customer service and care to pet owners and their dogs
  • Recommend services based on client needs and coordinate with dog trainers
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance such as scheduling repairs, fixing or replacing broken equipment etc
  • Order supplies and receive deliveries and stock supplies in timely manner
  • Report any technical issues with the online booking platform
  • Prepare and manage schedules and ensure all shifts are staffed efficiently; cover shifts as needed
  • Assist in employee recruitment, training, performance evaluation, promotion and termination activities
  • Assist with inbound calls and emails
  • Assist team as needed including driving or hiking dogs
  • Schedule regular team meetings to discuss business updates, issues and recommendations
  • Meet monthly KPI and sales targets
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reporting to be reviewed each month

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prior experience as a logistics coordinator, supervisor or a similar role
  • Prior dog care experience preferred but we will train the right person
  • Ability to sell and cross sell products and services to drive sales
  • Highly developed interpersonal and supervisory skills
  • Process-oriented work style
  • Ability to work under own initiative in a face paced environment
  • Ability to work through problems, troubleshoot and come to an appropriate solutions
  • Ability to prioritize work based on deadlines and urgency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Must love dogs and be able to interact and engage with all breeds
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able and willing to transport groups of dogs
  • Associates or Bachelor degree a plus
