Job Description Scope and Objectives To coordinate between the engineering team to ensure all maintenance activities are completed on time. Additionally, to coordinate with other departments to fulfill their engineering requirements and to monitor and prepare necessary reports on a daily basis to facilitate required action.

Specific Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Managing general hotel gardens maintenance, including basic carpentry and minor painting and decorating for both the gardens and garden area.

Monitoring the preventive maintenance file daily and communicating with the team.

Documenting Preventive Maintenance records.

Assisting the Engineering store in updating reports.

Assisting team members in finding records and documents from the engineering folders.

Preparing and maintaining the engineering library and training room.

Organizing and coordinating department section meetings.

Documenting all training records.

Representing Engineering department in meetings when advised.

Monitoring and analyzing guest satisfaction reports related to the Maintenance department.

Monitoring department team grooming issues and coordinating with section managers for improvements.

Monitoring department work safety issues and coordinating with section managers for improvements.

Documenting work accidents and following up.

Coordinating with other departments when assigned.

Communicating all necessary information to the engineering team through documents on a daily basis.

Collecting feedback from the team and reporting to the DOE & ADOE.

Coordinating all maintenance requests/interventions with relevant departments to ensure timely and minimally disruptive interventions to operations.

Ensuring good communication between the Engineering Department and any other department.

Updating engineering consumption data such as electricity, fuel, gas, water consumption, and swimming pool readings on a daily basis, with all records up to date and available at all times.

Assisting Engineers in preparing material requisitions for withdrawal from the Main and Engineering stores.

Qualifications Education:

High School graduate or equivalent required. At least 2-year college (associate) degree preferred.

Experience:

Five years’ experience in the same field in hospitality. #J--Ljbffr
