The Tactical Architecture Group (TAG) is a team of lead network security architects and strategists within the ACC Enterprise Security Architecture organization. We focus on ideation, testing, proof of concept, and support for firewall and security projects, analyzing solutions, recommending improvements, and transforming the legacy “Conexus” network into a modernized segmented network. Collaboration with Labs, ITO Network, and GTO helps develop strategies to achieve target state architecture affecting all employees and business units. Key Competencies Strategic thinker with a proactive mindset for identifying risks and implementing scalable solutions Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business stakeholders Ability to translate complex security concepts into actionable business recommendations Comfortable working in fast‑paced, agile environments with shifting priorities Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively with minimal supervision Adept at conducting research and independently acquiring new skills Team Responsibilities Security Architecture, Design and Planning for incoming projects and End of Life (EOL) Firewall Policy Automation and Orchestration (Algosec) Security Feature and OS review/certification Enterprise Security Architecture Tools Development Security Vulnerability and Bug Consulting Enterprise Management Systems (EMS) Design, Planning and Architecture Intrusion Detection/Prevention System Required Skills and Qualifications Expert-level security architecture knowledge and experience in networking technologies, firewall solutions, IDS/IPS, Linux/Unix command line tools, VMware, and Algosec or other policy management/orchestration tools Deep understanding of firewall configurations, network segmentation, and secure routing protocols Advanced knowledge of Azure cloud security architecture, policy enforcement, and workload protection Experience implementing cloud-native security controls and automation frameworks Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and vulnerability oversight In-depth familiarity with PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO 27001, and other regulatory frameworks Proven experience supporting internal and external audits, including evidence gathering and remediation planning Mentoring and developing talent across technical and non-technical roles Experience overseeing the development and deployment of custom security tools and automation pipelines Familiarity with scripting and programming languages (Python, PowerShell, Go, Ansible) Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree (MS/MA) in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field 8+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity architecture and engineering Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM Supervisory No. Compensation Annual salary range: $141,300.00 – $237,400.00 Our Principal Cybersecurity earns between $158,200.00 and $237,400.00 USD annually. Salary may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
