This role is part of the Truck Commercial Vehicle Systems division.ResponsibilitiesManage all technical aspects of multiple and/or major projects utilizing the Product Planning and Development Procedure.Design, validate, provide test reports and sign-off documents, and ensure production readiness.Coordinate with CAD, FEA and laboratory personnel and interface with other departments in support of the above.Coordinate the technical design and test aspects on projects with suppliers and customers.Provide continuous improvement through employee development, process improvement and elimination of waste.Help assure safety in the lab and office.QualificationsBachelor of Science degree in technical discipline required.BSME/BSAgE/BSAeroE preferred.4-6 years’ experience in vehicle structural design (heavy or medium duty truck preferred) with exposure to dynamic structural analysis, finite element analysis, fatigue analysis, and product design.Demonstrated product innovation.SolidWorks CAD experience preferred.Experience working with independent suspensions a plus.Project management experience preferred.Demonstrated ability to meet product development deadlines.Physical DemandsFrequent sitting and working at computer for extended periods.Occasional standing and walking on concrete.Occasional climbing stairs and fixed/vertical ladders.Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.Ability to push/pull carts (minimum 25 lbs) and parts (minimum 60 lbs).Ability to drive as required.Ability to travel 10-20% of the time to MT. Vernon, MO as required.Salary: In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, the salary range is $95,500-$135,000.
