Urgency: We operate with a sense of urgency.Innovation: We embrace growth and change.Create Return on Efforts: We create positive results on all our efforts.Responsibilities and Duties:Familiarize and utilize all standard operating procedures in relation to band saws, iron worker, plasma torch, etc.Ensure that product standards, both as to quality and quantity are metInterpret weld symbols, dimensions, and materials on drawingsApply all safety measures when working in the shop and with machines/ hand toolsMaintain a positive attitude RequirementsSkills, Knowledge, and Abilities:Ability to receive/read instructions and implement specific instructionsAbility to review printsStrong attention to detailAbility to figure angle/pitch from rise & runMust have basic understanding of anglesKnowledge of all cutting types - Band Saw, Torch, Plasma, and ShearKnowledge of notching, punching, and Press Brake functionsMust be able to take and follow directionsAbility to drive a fork truck (certification preferred)Knowledge of different material types (e.g. carbon steel, stainless, and aluminum.)Standing for long periods of time Due to the responsibilities of production, must lift up to 75 lbs.Job Requirements:Education: High School DiplomaExperience: 3+ years in a relevant area- mechanical, technical, painting, and/ or machining experience.Physical: Applicants must be able to walk and stand on feet for extended period of time, lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs, crawl on hands and knees, climb a ladder and be able to work long hours. This position works outdoors year-round and therefore subject to all weather conditions sometimes to include extreme cold and heat.
