The information that you submit will be collected and reviewed by associates, consultants, and vendors of Regions in order to evaluate your qualifications and experience for job opportunities and will not be used for marketing purposes, sold, or shared outside of Regions unless required by law.Job DescriptionThe Enterprise Architect oversees multiple dimensions of assigned applications and/or capabilities including but not limited to stability, life cycle management, version control, design and development of technology solutions, mapping of business requirements to capability oriented technical requirements, and ensuring Technology solutions to business needs are developed in accordance with the enterprise architectural roadmap, guidelines, and standards.Primary ResponsibilitiesManages end to end from conception, through delivery, into production of enterprise architecturesPartners with business and technology subject-matter experts to elicit and translate business requirements into technological solutionsLeads the design and modeling of tactical architectures for delivery, development, and support of projectsDesigns both the physical and logical components of solution architectures that will deliver a positive business outcomeCollaborates with other domain architects to provide a consensus based scalable and adaptable architectural solutionOversees technical analysis and design capabilitiesFacilitates technology design workshops for emerging technologiesValidates designs produced by third party vendors wishing to sell solutions to the organizationAligns Information Technology strategy and planning with the company’s business goals and objectivesPromotes the use of a shared infrastructure and application roadmap to reduce costs and improve how information flowsCollaborates on roadmaps to align Information Technology priorities with business partner requirements and strategiesBuilds and maintains technical trusted advisor relationships with influential technical decision makers within TechnologyWorks with Portfolio technology leaders to include technical debt initiatives to portfolio roadmapRequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field and 5 years of enterprise, solutions and/or technical architecture experienceExperience of N-tier architectures and complex design architecturesExperience with technical, application, and information architecture delivery techniques and methodologiesExperience with Agile methodsCertifications/LicensuresCertifications in the technology domain of the enterpriseSkills And CompetenciesAbility to adapt to new technologies and learn quicklyAn understanding of, and ability to use, design patterns to steer business requirements into enterprise wide technical strategiesAwareness and ability to document designs using internal and external notational standardsHands on the keyboard depth in one or more popular programming languagesKnowledge of security design techniquesUnderstanding the technology of the organizationWorking knowledge of modern Operating Systems, Networking, Servers/Mainframe, Secure Coding Practices, Development Environments, DatabasesAdditional Job DescriptionAdditional ResponsibilitiesWork closely with banking / financial services business stakeholders, product owners, data scientists, engineers, and governance teams to co-create scalable and secure solutions meeting banking / financial services Risk and Compliance standards.Preferred Skills/ExperienceExperience with modern containerized application development and deployment tools and methodologiesUnderstanding of public cloud architecture principles and available cloud servicesExperience with modern DevOps tooling and principles, CI/CD pipeline design, secure development practicesExperience in architecture and design of solutions conforming to demanding non-functional requirementsExperience with event-driven architecture and design principles and toolingHands-on development, testing and debugging experience with enterprise-level applications and solutionsProficiency in designing and developing synchronous and asynchronous interfacesKnowledge of security protocols and best practices for secure interfacesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferred CertificationsCertifications in public cloud architectureThis position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience. This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future.
