Meets expected service delivery times as defined by department's service standards or as required by receiver of service or goods. Is a team player, cooperates with employees within the department as well as other departments. Speaks positively about the company, co-workers and guests. Responds to routine maintenance calls as required within the scope of the Plumbing Shop. Installs, connects and tests sanitary plumbing fixtures, fire sprinklers, hydraulic refrigeration and various gas, steam and other pressure systems. Performs maintenance and repair functions on major system breakdowns. Works with blueprints, sketches, service requests, state, municipal ordinances and underwrites ordinances and specifications. Lifts and moves tools and parts as related to applicable trade. Preparation of work area to include movement of furniture/obstructions. Keeps Lead informed of inventory of all materials and equipment necessary to perform job duties. Assists with training of the Apprentice Engineer. Completes special assignments for management as requested. EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalency certificate. Must be a journeyman Plumber. Three years previous plumbing experience required. Prior hotel plumbing maintenance experience preferred.
