Download Here. »Account Director1725 I St., NW, Washington, DCAbout this PositionAs LAI Video continues to grow and evolve in the marketing space, we seek an Account Director who can combine the agency’s successes with his or her own experiences to discover new opportunities and partners. A self-starter by nature, the Account Director should love meeting new people, learning about new industries, and working the room.As Account Director, you will be expected to generate new business opportunities before leading our creative team through the proposal process. Whether we are pitching a commercial concept for a local business or designing a multi-faceted, multi-year digital campaign for a non-profit, you will be the main contact for a client, guiding them through a rewarding client experience and, hopefully, a long-lasting relationship.Qualifications7+ years equivalent work experienceExcellent written and verbal skills with superb email etiquetteExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationshipsStrong LinkedIn networkExperience in ad agency, government contracting and / or content creation (programming) a plusKnowledge of marketing and media trends a plusCulturally aware and an all around decent personResponsibilitiesFind new client accountsAct as main point of contact through proposals and productionWork with the team to pitch new ideas, draft budgets, and write proposalsNegotiate sales and contract termsClose business and meet sales goalsBuild long-lasting relationships with prospects and partnersAttend social and professional eventsRegularly update CRM recordsCompensation and BenefitsLAI Video is part of Leading Authorities, Inc. is based in Washington, DC.
