Kavaliro's client is seeking a Millwork Designer for an onsite position in Commerce, Georgia.


Key ResponsibilitiesDesign Development:
Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and clients to understand project requirements and preferences.
Develop design concepts and sketches for cabinetry and casework based on client specifications and space constraints.
Utilize CAD software (such as AutoCAD or similar) to create detailed drawings and renderings of proposed designs.


Modular Design Integration:



Implement modular design principles to create flexible and adaptable cabinetry and casework systems.
Ensure that modular components are scalable and interchangeable, allowing for easy customization and reconfiguration as needed.


Material Selection and Specification:



Research and select appropriate materials for cabinetry and casework construction, considering factors such as durability, cost, and aesthetic appeal.
Specify hardware and fittings that complement the design and meet quality standards.


Technical Documentation:



Prepare comprehensive technical drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, to communicate design intent to production teams.
Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) and cutting lists to facilitate material procurement and fabrication.


Quality Assurance:



Review shop drawings and prototypes to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
Conduct site visits as needed to verify installation requirements and resolve any design-related issues.


Project Management:



Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, and contractors to oversee the production, delivery, and installation of cabinetry and casework components.
Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective solutions.
