OverviewThe Regional Sales Director is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic dealer partnerships, and expanding market share for Velocity’s premium portfolio of restored vehicles within a designated region. This leadership role is accountable for regional profit and loss, cultivating strong client relationships, supporting dealer channels, and delivering a best-in-class sales experience. The ideal candidate will possess deep automotive industry knowledge, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a proven ability to lead regional sales initiatives. The Regional Sales Director serves as a brand ambassador and strategic advisor, reinforcing Velocity’s position as the leader in classic vehicle restoration.Duties and ResponsibilitiesActively sell and promote Velocity’s complete portfolio of premium vehicles within their region with accountability for revenue, expenses, and profit.Develop a robust dealer network within their region focusing on current locations and growth opportunities.Support dealers through sales team training, commercial strategy, marketing efforts, sales closing, vehicle specifications, and other duties to ensure dealer-channel success.Engage with high-potential clients via in-depth demonstrations, highlighting key features and the unique value propositions of Velocity’s product lineup.Protect gross margin on vehicle sales using company tools such as margin calculators and trade-in evaluation resources.Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients, enthusiasts, and industry partners to broaden Velocity’s market presence.Develop expert-level understanding of Velocity’s vehicle range; stay current with industry advancements to educate clients and partners and maintain a competitive edge.Compile daily, weekly, and monthly activity/deal reports for the team.Drive lead generation and manage an own sales pipeline to project revenue with reasonable accuracy.Work with headquarters leads and direct retail sales when applicable.Mentor and support junior sales staff and contribute to a high-performance sales culture.Identify and attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company’s services and expand market reach with ROI tracking.Required Skills And AbilitiesStrong knowledge of automotive dealership operations and sales-channel developmentExceptional interpersonal and communication skills for engaging high-net-worth clientsExperience selling products averaging $100,000+Ability to deliver compelling product demonstrations and articulate complex value propositionsStrategic thinker with solid business acumen and P&L management experienceSkilled in sales pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM reportingProficiency in leveraging digital tools for margin protection and trade-in evaluationsAbility to mentor junior sales team members and foster a high-performance cultureComfortable leading dealer training and supporting marketing and commercial strategiesHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and regional responsibilitiesWillingness to travel for dealer visits, trade shows, and networking events 50%+ of the timeEducation Background and ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalentValid driver’s license with good driving recordProven track record in automotive sales or luxury product sales with regional accountabilityPhysical DemandsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk; occasional standing or walkingOccasionally lifting and carrying items up to 10-20 poundsFrequent use of hands for typing and operating a computerTravel and driving as part of the roleBenefitsCompensation: Pay based on experience and qualificationsHealth & Wellness: Health/Dental/Vision/Life/Disability, Aflac available after 60 daysRetirement: 401(k) with company match after 6 monthsPaid Time Off and holidaysCompany events, tool program, merchandise discounts, friendly team environmentJob duties, salary, and benefits are subject to change throughout employment with Velocity.Velocity is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
