H.E.R. Accessories is a leader in the fashion industry, seeking a Designer to join our creative team
We bring licensed, branded, and private label hair accessories, jewelry and cosmetics to all major retailers worldwide (Wal-Mart, Target, Claire’s, Hot Topic, Five Below, etc.). H.E.R. is home to top licenses including Disney, Nickelodeon, NBC Universal, Warner Bros and more.
Responsibilities:
Develop product and packaging from conception through to final production for existing brands and areas of expansion.
Create item line sheets and customer presentations.
Set up artwork for production and review samples for accuracy.
Communicate with factories overseas.
Monitor projects through all stages to ensure creative excellence is upheld and the highest quality product possible is hitting the shelf.
Shop the market, find the white space and bring new innovation to the table.
Stay up to date on our licensed brands and market trends to aid in product development.
Qualifications:
Located within commuting distance to NYC.
Exceptional skills in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop and Illustrator
Experience in licensed consumer products / accessories design is a plus.
Resourceful self-starter, who knows how to get things done both independently and collaboratively.
Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and manage multiple projects.
Ability to prioritize work without missing critical deadlines.
Must be able to work in a fast output start-up environment, and meet tight deadlines while paying attention to details.
Benefits:

Salary
$50,000 to $100,000 (Depending on Experience)
