The Opportunity
- Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
- New grads with strong emergency or paramedic/EMT experience will be considered.
The Practice
Mercy Medical Center - Roseburg, Oregon
- Level III Trauma Center with 110 beds and the only facility for about 80,000 lives in a large, beautiful geographic area of Southern Oregon.
- State-of-the-art 26-bed Emergency Department that sees 42,000 annual ED patient visits.
- Excellent backup specialists including a Stroke Program with a 24/7 Cardiology Department.
- Vituity partners in Hospital Medicine providing well-run and efficient integrated care at the site.
- New Sonosite Edge ultrasound, Glidescope (adult and pediatric), and iCare tonometer.
- The ED sees an incredible amount of pathology.
- This is a teaching facility with family practice residents. Medical and PA students rotate in the ED.
