The Solutions Architect will be instrumental in driving technical strategy and architecture decisions for our clients, helping them gain competitive advantages through innovative use of AWS services.What You’ll DoProvide technical pre-sales support to accelerate opportunities through the sales pipelinePartner closely with sales representatives to qualify opportunities and develop technical strategiesSupport sales operations in opportunity tracking, pipeline management, and forecasting activitiesLead technical discovery sessions and architect solutions that align with customer business objectivesDesign and present cloud architecture proposals, technical presentations, and cost estimates to prospective clientsCreate compelling technical proposals and drive AWS partner funding opportunitiesDevelop detailed technical documentation including solution designs, statements of work, and implementation plansWork on various Optimized Licensing Assessments (OLAs) such as storage, VMware, Microsoft, or Oracle environmentsExecute migration readiness assessments and application portfolio analysis to develop transformation roadmapsContribute to modernization assessments to identify opportunities for containerization and serverless adoptionPartner with AWS account teams to align solution approaches with AWS Well-Architected FrameworkEnsure smooth transition of projects to delivery and engineering teams through detailed knowledge transferBuild and maintain strong relationships with technical stakeholders from C-level to development teamsStay current with latest AWS services and cloud industry trendsParticipate in local industry activities to represent UturnEducationBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field strongly preferredAWS Associate Level Certification such as Solutions Architect Associate, Developer Associate, or SysOps Associate certification requiredAdditional AWS certifications highly valuedExperience5+ years of experience in technology consulting, solutions architecture, or similar technical role3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud architectureProven track record of successful pre-sales technical engagements and solution developmentStrong presentation and communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiencesExperience with Infrastructure as Code, containerization, and modern application architecturesDemonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and translate technical capabilities into business valueExperience with agile methodologies and working in remote-first environmentsBackground in enterprise architecture patterns and distributed systems designStrong understanding of security, compliance, and cost optimization in cloud environmentGreat benefits and perks including flexible hours, excellent medical, Dental/Vision, LTD/STD/AD&D/Life coverage, on-going training, 401k, River North location or home office, transit reimbursement, and on-going technical training #J-18808-Ljbffr
