Position Overview: We are currently seeking a compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professional - Adult/Child (QMHP-A/C) to join our dynamic Mobile Crisis Services team. This is a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on the lives of individuals in crisis, delivering immediate interventions and working towards stabilizing their well-being. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site crisis de-escalation and stabilization services.
- Conduct mental health assessments to determine the crisis's severity and inform treatment interventions.
- Develop safety plans and coordinate ongoing care with a multidisciplinary team.
- Link individuals to community resources, mental health services, and follow-up care.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with Medicaid guidelines.
Qualifications:
- MUST be registered as a Virginia QMHP-A/C or meet the requirements to become registered through the Virginia Board of Counseling.
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children or adults in mental health settings.
- Valid VA Driver’s License and car insurance.
- Strong crisis intervention, assessment, and counseling skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
