Behavioral Health Nurse

About Us:

The Bridge Behavioral Health is a nonprofit substance use and mental health treatment facility. We provide medically-monitored withdrawal, substance use respite, residential treatment, and outpatient services. br>
  • Complete nursing assessments for new clients and utilize ASAM criteria to determine appropriate level of care.
  • Provide care that meets clients' biophysical, psychosocial, and environmental needs.
  • Administer medications and withdrawal management as ordered by Medical Director.
  • Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage clients to engage in treatment after completion of withdrawal and promote improved health maintenance.
  • Educate clients on signs and symptoms of withdrawal, healthy living, managing diabetes, nutrition, smoking cessation, and medication management.
  • Perform ongoing physical assessments including CIWAs and COWS and refer patients to Medical Director or PCPs as needed to address medications, mental health, and physical health.
  • Communicate with clinical team to facilitate individualized multidisciplinary care plans.
    • Active RN or LPN license and CPR certification
    • Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
    • Experience working in withdrawal, substance use, and/or mental health is preferred but training will be provided
    • Must be 21 year of age or older
