APRN/pa Neurohospitalist

AdventHealth Neurology in Orlando is in search of a neurology hospitalist advanced practice provider to provide care to our diverse patient population. The ideal candidate would have some sort of exposure to Neurology whether as an RN or having experience as a provider.
The APRN or PA-C, under the supervision of the Physician(s), who acts as the collaborative practitioner, is responsible for:
+ Performing history, physical examinations as needed and monitors neurology patients in an inpatient setting. Collaborating with physician and staff as necessary to provide consistent care to patients.
+ Performs physical examinations of hospital patients including, but not limited to: new patient visits, pre & post-operative care, hospital consultations, inpatient rounding and discharging of patients per hospital protocol.
+ Collaborates with attending physician and staff as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff.
+ Flexible and adaptable to change
Master's degree in Nursing (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) Studies
+ 0-2 years of experience as a provider in Neurology (preferred)
+ Previous Internal Medicine or Hospitalist experience is required 1 -2 years
+ Prefer 2 years of inpatient based medicine, preferably in Internal Medicine
Licensure, Certification, and Registration:
+ Master's Degree in Nursing (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) Studies
