Part Time Faculty Interest Pool - Business Administration: Accounting 3 days ago – Be among the first 25 applicants Portland Community College (PCC) is the largest post‑secondary institution in Oregon and the 19th largest in the nation, serving approximately 80,000 students across multiple campuses and community locations. Part‑time faculty assignments in Business Administration: Accounting and Finance are being considered. New applications will be reviewed monthly. This is a Part‑time Faculty Interest Pool; particular course assignments will be determined during the academic year. We welcome candidates who can teach face‑to‑face courses at PCC’s main campuses (Sylvania, Rock Creek, Southeast, Cascade) and/or online. Instructor Qualifications Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another business‑related field; at least 30 quarter‑hours of accounting credits; three years of full‑time equivalent non‑teaching accounting work experience required; CPA or CMA license and prior teaching experience preferred. OR Post‑baccalaureate certificate in accounting or bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another business‑related field; at least 30 quarter‑hours of accounting credits; over three years of full‑time equivalent non‑teaching accounting work experience; CPA or CMA license. Teaching experience preferred. Credentials and Documentation Official transcripts of required degrees must be submitted within two weeks of offer. Credentials must be from a regionally accredited US institution or an equivalent foreign institution. Transcripts from foreign institutions will be evaluated by recognized agencies. See PCC Instructor Qualifications webpage for details. Benefits and Compensation Part‑time faculty may be eligible for PCC benefits, including Oregon Sick Leave and retirement savings plans. Details are available at pcc.edu/hr/benefits. Compensation is determined by the course type and follows PCC’s Part‑time Faculty Salary Schedule.
