OverviewOcean Spray is hiring for an Associate Brand Manager. We are a farmer-owned co-op focused on the cranberry brand, with a culture that values collaboration and hands-on execution. This is a hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA or our Seaport Boston, MA location, with Mondays & Fridays remote.The Beverage Brand Marketing Team builds demand for the simple, honest goodness of the cranberry, supporting energetic, entrepreneurial marketing to deliver against our mission. Under the guidance of the Senior Manager, the Associate Brand Manager will help develop and execute short-term and long-term strategy, marketing, and innovation objectives for the Food Service, Club, Value, and Drug channels. Creativity, communication, and business management are key to success.Position location: hybrid role based out of Lakeville, MA or Seaport Boston, MA with Mondays & Fridays remote.ResponsibilitiesServe as a key member of the Beverage Brand Marketing Team, supporting all aspects of business ownership, including marketing communication strategy, packaging design, and product forecasting.Track and report weekly and monthly business performance; make recommendations derived from data and consumer insights.Support development of monthly and quarterly business updates, annual marketing plans, and semi-annual Sales materials.Develop, own, and monitor channel-specific forecasts as part of Ocean Spray's monthly demand planning process.Lead and influence cross-functional teams in channel-specific product launches and initiatives.Support the development and execution of channel-specific marketing and shopper programs to drive demand.Monitor competitive/channel/customer activity and recommend actions to achieve revenue and market share goals.Partner with Sales and relevant third parties supporting the business.What We Are Looking ForBachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.2-3+ years of work experience in CPG brand management or marketing/strategic management consulting; Channel Marketing experience preferred.Strong proficiency with IRI/Nielsen POS data; ability to sift through data to uncover drivers behind the "why" and tell the story succinctly.Outstanding organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail; comfortable being analytical and creative.Self-starters with demonstrated personal and thought leadership capabilities.Previous exposure to business unit P&L ownership is a plus.Basic knowledge of marketing practices and principles; strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence without authority.Travel approximately 10%.EducationBachelor's or University Degree (Required)Master's Degree (Preferred)Work ExperienceAt least 1 year of experienceBenefitsComplete insurance package on Day-1 including health, dental, and vision insurance; health savings account; flexible spending account; life and accident insurance; employee assistance program; Telehealth; fertility benefits; transgender benefits; 1:1 health coaching and more401(k) with company matching; potential discretionary match at year-endShort-Term Incentive/Performance bonusesFlexible scheduling; vacation pay (up to three weeks, pro-rated first year)Holiday pay for 12 holidaysCareer development and growth opportunities; tuition/education assistance; access to LinkedIn LearningScholarship programs for children of employees; parental leave; Bright Horizons Back-up care and tutoringAdoption assistance; bereavement leaveHealth and wellness reimbursements (up to $300 each for fitness and massage)Employee appreciation events; employee discounts; charitable givingWho We AreYou might have our iconic cranberry juice in your fridge or have debated canned versus fresh cranberry sauce.
