New Business Development Manager

Develop a comprehensive business plan to capture and expand market share within the designated division, focusing on customers with sales potential over $0.5 million annually. The primary responsibility is to generate new account revenue in line with organizational targets and quotas, with a minimum of $2 million in the first year and $6 million annually in subsequent years.

Utilize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to prioritize opening high-potential new accounts, increasing sales and gross profit from all new accounts.

Research potential customer requirements, analyze market trends, and maintain awareness of competitors' products and pricing to provide customers with valuable insights and new product ideas.

Work closely with Category and Segment Specialists to develop compelling offerings for prospective accounts and complete new customer credit applications.

Maintain a pipeline of potential clients and leverage industry contacts to develop and secure high-potential new business.

Attend industry events, network with potential accounts, and share expertise with Territory Managers.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree, at least 3 years of sales experience, and a proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, are required.

The expected base rate for this role is between $75,000 and $120,000, with additional incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
