Business Development Manager

Teamvantage, a Velosity Company is searching for a Business Development Manager. The "Business Development - Precision Machining" position is responsible for driving profitable growth in MMD Medical's Precision Machining division through accurate and cost effective proposals for new business opportunities. The Business Development position is responsible for developing and proposing the optimal material, equipment and processing strategy in order to best position MMD to win new opportunities while meeting its profitability objectives. The goal is that when MMD is awarded the business, the strategy developed to win the business will drive a successful NPL. This position will identify any Gaps that we have in delivering accurate quotes and propose solutions to close those gaps. The Business Development position will directly engage in supporting the sales process to win new business and customers by attending customer meetings as the machining expert. Who is Teamvantage? Equipment and Material strategy Develop relationships suppliers in order to understand the market and latest technology. Support Sales through sales calls, customer tours, trade shows. Physical Requirement Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers Sitting, Standing, Walking, Kneeling, Bending, Reaching, Talking, Seeing, Hearing Ability to lift up to 55 pounds Travel Requirements - 10% Work Environment Requirements Ability to withstand exposure to a cleanroom manufacturing environment Manufacturing environment, exposure to heat, noise, dust, dirt, oil and water Professional office environment Licensing/Registration/Certification: Valid identification and the ability to work legally in the United States.
