Job Title: Azure Data LeadAs an Azure Data Lead with demonstrated experience of 10-14 years, you will be instrumental in crafting and implementing innovative solutions using Azure technologies. You will work in a hybrid model primarily during day shifts to drive innovation and efficiency in our projects. Your expertise in Azure SQL DB Azure Functions Azure DevOps and Azure Data Factory will be meaningful in delivering high-quality solutions that align with our company goals and impact society positively.
Responsibilities- Own the design and implementation of scalable and secure architectures using Azure SQL DB Azure Functions Azure DevOps and Azure Data Factory.
- Lead all aspects of the development and deployment of cloud-based solutions ensuring they meet performance and security standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams encouraging a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure the integration of various Azure services to build flawless and efficient workflows.
- Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency to standard methodologies.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all architectural designs and implementations.
- Supervise and optimize the performance of cloud-based applications identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks.
- Implement robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to streamline the development and deployment process.
- Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies and industry trends to ensure our solutions remain ground breaking.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions and workshops to upskill team members on Azure technologies.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements in all cloud-based solutions.
- Drive innovation by exploring new Azure services and features that can enhance our solutions.
- Possess a deep understanding of Azure SQL DB Azure Functions Azure DevOps and Azure Data Factory.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills to work optimally with cross-functional teams.
- Show a proven track record of optimally delivering sophisticated cloud-based projects.
- Have experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Display a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

The annual salary for this role is between $88,200 to $139,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This job is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
