JOB SUMMARY FOR PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR:
We are currently seeking a Quality Control (QC) Inspection Supervisor to join our Springfield Assembly Plant to support our International Truck manufacturing line.
Monday - Friday (6:30am - 4pm) with some weekends and OT
Pay range: $28-33/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR:
Direct and support PDI Inspectors and Technicians to ensure correct and efficient inspections and repairs by a qualified team.
Maintain high inspection quality, adhering to company and safety policies.
Oversee shop floor activities to meet workload targets within projected time and cost.
Manage inspection workflow, ensuring auditor and technician accountability, timely completion of inspections and repairs, accurate data capture, and continuous communication with service auditors.
Contact managers for unusual vehicle repairs when necessary.
Ensure efficient vehicle processing, timely tracking, and delivery.
Stay informed on inspection criteria, product changes, and provide technical support to auditors and technicians.
Ensure all inspections and reworks are accurately documented with precise technician comments.
Understand and adhere to federal, state, and local service operation regulations.
Maintain a safe, clean work environment, ensuring proper PPE use and tool management.
Attend PDI Department meetings and explain reworks to the plant quality organization when required.
Promote respect and teamwork within the department and throughout the assembly facility.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR:
Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of quality inspection experience, OR
Master’s degree and at least 1 year of quality inspection experience, OR
At least 5 years of quality inspection experience
