We look for candidates that offer a fresh perspective and a variety of skills to help us achieve our commitment.We are currently seeking applications to fill the following job opening:Company:Asahi Kasei America, Inc.Job Description:As part of the Infrastructure Team, the Sr. System Engineer (with focus on Cloud - Azure or AWS) supports the corporate hosting infrastructure by designing, implementing and maintaining the company’s hosting services (cloud and on-premise), physical servers, storage and backup systems. The Engineers are geographically dispersed to provide near round-the-clock coverage for the Corporate hosting infrastructure. As a Senior, you will drive complex projects, produces document, process and training for internal use as well as for external and customers and drives the continuous improvement process. Write related changes and monitor Patching ProcessDevelop and maintain installation and configuration procedures. Contribute to and maintain system standardsResearch and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasksProvide excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to work down to desktop support levelAbility to be globally on-call availability for approximatively 10 weeks per yearDrive the continuous improvement processHighly involve in automation and team processesQualifications / RequirementsTechnical competenciesCloud (AWS, Azure)Kubernetes, docker solutionsDevOps Toolchain: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Ansible, Terraform,Scripting and configuration : PowerShell, YAML, JSONCisco C Series Servers, Dell serversBackup : EMC Avamar, Rubrik, VeeamOS : Windows Server, , Microsoft Clustering, SQL Server, LinuxVirtualization : VMware with vSAN, NSX, SRM, HyperV, NutanixEducation /ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field2 years experience managing and configuring Cloud resources10 years’ experience managing and configuring VMware environmentGood knowledge of cloud hosting platform is requiredVMWare Certifications a plusTechnical knowledge of Microsoft Windows Servers OS and VMware ESX/vSAN.
