We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Med Technologist II to join our Nuclear Medicine team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in performing standard, specialty, and complex Nuclear Medicine procedures with accuracy and attention to detail. With extensive experience and expertise in utilizing radio pharmaceuticals, the Nuclear Med Technologist II will contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care while upholding ethical standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities of the Nuclear Med Tech:

Perform standard, specialty, and complex Nuclear Medicine procedures with little or no supervision, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Prepare radio pharmaceuticals for administration to patients and perform venipuncture and catheterization duties as needed.
Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of anatomy, physiology, and Nuclear Medicine principles.
Conduct quality control procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and departmental standards and requirements.
Assist in monitoring the daily quality assurance of the unit and ensure equipment operates according to manufacturer's specifications.
Assist in identifying and resolving work process issues within the department to optimize efficiency and quality of care.

Minimum Qualifications of the Nuclear Med Tech:

Graduate of a formal program in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent formal training.
California Certified Technologist, Nuclear Medicine License (CTNM).
Nuclear Medical Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification or ARRT Registered Technologist (RT-N) in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years of Nuclear Medicine experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
Pediatric experience and bilingual skills preferred.

Position Details:

Full-time, 80 hours per pay period.
Day shifts.
Pay Range: $50.30 - $78.50 per hour.
