Overview The Senior Account Executive develops relationships with new and existing clients through extensive conversations with mid‑to‑high level contacts, navigating corporate pathways into enterprise accounts to build interest in our solutions. The successful candidate will prospect and target accounts for new business, maintain existing business, and work with partners. This person will implement a comprehensive strategy that maximizes opportunities for Precisely Automate products and services in the US South territory. What you will do Sell into new enterprise accounts while building relationships with key decision makers, delivering presentations that convey confidence and credibility, and detailing Precisely’s ability to support prospects’ business requirements. Use a consultative approach to open discussions with prospects, explore their business needs, summarize issues, discover solutions, and gain agreement on your solution. Develop and execute a strategic and comprehensive business plan for each account, identifying core customer requirements and mapping the benefits of our solutions to the client’s business needs. Maintain timely documentation within Salesforce.com of customer contact and activity data. Provide accurate forecasting, regular quarterly revenue delivery, and ensure implementation of agreed account and business plans. Collaborate with Marketing to develop an effective plan for the accounts, including events, seminars, and roadmap sessions. Consistently meet or exceed assigned quota. What we are looking for At least 4 years of successful territory sales experience in enterprise software sales. Equivalent experience may be accepted in place of the education requirement. Expertise selling technical software solutions to finance, human resources, sales & distribution, and information technology groups. Documented ability to build a strategic sales plan, prioritize and execute as planned. Ability to meet quota and adapt to changing environments. Analytical skill set, strong presentation skills, and ability to interact with any level within an organization. Knowledge/experience with SAP (or other ERP) systems. MDM sales experience is a plus. B2B selling experience and business acumen across finance, HR, sales, supply chain, and IT. Process automation knowledge/experience. Experience in data management, applications, and IT platforms.
