Department: Wound Care Clinic

FTE: Full Time, 1.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $38.Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:Provides direct patient care to patients, in an outpatient clinical setting, with wounds and ostomies using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. Preferred: Certification as a Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN) by the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB). Minimum Experience: 2 years of nursing experience.
