Base Pay Range $139,600.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive the growth of product engineering services within the Medical Devices and Diagnostic Equipment segment. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of industry experience in building client relationships, shaping proposals, and leading solution-based sales. This role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams to create business opportunities, drive market expansion, and deliver value to manufacturing and MedTech clients. The focus will be on selling design and engineering services for medical devices and software, including integrated hardware and software systems across: Imaging systems Respiratory devices Robotics and bionic devices Key Goals New business won (total contract value) New client acquisition Key Responsibilities Lead and manage engineering, manufacturing, and IoT solution sales across the medical device and equipment sector. Drive pipeline development, manage full sales cycles, and close deals to achieve revenue growth and expand market presence. Build and maintain account maps, identify high‑potential opportunities, and develop go‑to‑market strategies in collaboration with technical and sales teams. Engage with senior client executives, engineering leaders, and procurement teams to build long‑term partnerships. Monitor account performance, lead business reviews, and identify opportunities to grow the service footprint. Represent the organization at industry events and strengthen market visibility through client engagements and thought leadership initiatives. Minimum Qualifications 10+ years of experience in business development, with at least 5 years selling large‑scale technology or engineering solutions. Deep domain expertise in medical devices and diagnostic equipment, including R&D, product development, prototyping, product lifecycle management, and manufacturing. Strong understanding of MedTech subsegments such as imaging (CT, MRI, ultrasound), electronic devices (hemodialysis machines, ventilators, patient monitors), implantable devices (pacemakers, prostheses), and software as a medical device. Proven experience in developing and presenting proposals, value propositions, and complex deal structures. Knowledge of electronics and embedded product development cycles, including hardware, firmware, VLSI, mechanical design, test & validation, and manufacturing. Strong technical acumen and consultative selling skills, with the ability to understand client challenges and position tailored solutions. Ability to collaborate with solution teams to develop innovative offerings aligned with market needs. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
