**Experience:** 1-2 years CT technologist experience required; CT Biopsy experience a plus

**License:** Required Radiologic Technology Certification

**Certifications:** ARRT Radiography, ARRT Computed Tomography, Basic Life Support (BLS)

**Must-Have:**
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to function independently and under pressure while actively participating in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately and multitask effectively.
- Detail-oriented with excellent customer service skills.
- Competence in all aspects of CT, patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection.
- Understanding of anatomy and pathology relevant to procedure quality.
- Competence in performing all ACR and manufacturer-recommended Quality Control tests.

**Description:**
We are seeking a dependable and flexible CT Technologist to provide age-appropriate patient care by performing diagnostic imaging procedures. The successful candidate will possess the ability to perform independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in equipment utilization for disease diagnosis and/or treatment. Responsibilities include verifying clinician orders, obtaining complete clinical history, ensuring proper patient identification, providing contrast media administration, and maintaining patient privacy and dignity.

Core responsibilities include:
- Verifying patient identity using unique identifiers.
- Ensuring patient comfort and explaining procedures to minimize anxiety.
- Gathering examination data and assessing contraindications.
- Operating and adjusting imaging equipment for the lowest possible dose of ionizing radiation while maintaining image quality.
- Reporting equipment malfunctions and maintaining cleanliness.
- Participating in patient education, orientation of staff, and departmental training.

The role involves transporting patients, assisting with procedures, maintaining Joint Commission standards, and performing miscellaneous duties as assigned. Candidates should demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills, maintain productivity, and uphold professional standards at all times.
