**Experience:** Minimum of 1 year

**License:** RN License

**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

**Must-Have:**
- Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test

**Job Description:**
- Care for patients in a 36-bed Cardiovascular Unit
- Serve a diverse patient population including Cardiac and Neuro Stepdown patients
- Manage cardiac bedside monitoring, cardiac drips, TR bands, post heart catheterizations, stroke, and neuro patients, including BIPAP overflows
- Handle patient populations from young adult to late adult (ages 18 - 60+)
- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
- Collaborate with a staffing team including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), and Nurse Interns (NIs)
- Assume full responsibility for the team’s patients
