**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital experience in L&D, Mother/Baby, Nursery & Postpartum/GYN
**License:** Oklahoma RN license
**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications (through the American Heart Association)
**Must-Have:** 2 years of recent experience in required specialties
**Job Description:**
- Perform plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care appropriately.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions appropriately to care teams, physicians, patients, and families.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluate learning needs of patients and families, providing education tailored to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
- Circulate during C-sections and attend deliveries, assisting physicians as needed.
- Follow appropriate policies during the recovery and care of surgical patients.
- Attend the neonatal station in the C-section suite and comprehensively assess neonates post-delivery.
- Attend fetal monitoring certification classes every two years.
- Attend STABLE certification class if offered; must be NRP certified.
- Identify and communicate necessary information to physicians and patients effectively.
