**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 12 Hour Nights

**Guaranteed Hours:** 48 per week

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (excluding travel experience)

**License:** Registered Nurse (RN) - Approved by a board of nursing

**Certifications:**
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- TNCC (Required)

**Must-Have:**
- Epic experience
- Comfort working a 48-hour/week contract
- Experience with complex ICU patients
- RN qualified to float to ED and ICU
- Experience with IV medications, hemodynamic lines, ventilator management, telemetry, and critical thinking

**Job Description:**

- Work in a 39-bed mixed ICU unit, caring for surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma patients.
- Manage complex diagnoses such as ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, post-cardiac procedures, post-surgical, and multiple system traumas.
- Provide care for patients with cardiac experience, including CABG/TAVR post-op experience.
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 based on acuity.
- Utilize skills in proning, strong assessment abilities, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment with all critical patients.
- Support on the unit includes aid from nurse aides, charge nurses, phlebotomy, resource nurses, respiratory therapists, and intensivists.
- Use Epic for charting and have experience with Alaris and Omnicell systems.
- Floating to adult floors including Medsurg/Tele with a 1:4 ratio if overstaffed.
- Participate in hospital orientation and work every other weekend with no on-call expectations.
- Accommodate holiday expectations and scheduling requirements.
