**Experience:** 5+ years of experience required from an accredited histotechnology school and prior histology laboratory experience preferred

**License:** Permanent Ohio license in hand at time of submission; compact licenses accepted for starts from 1/1/23 forward

**Certifications:** ASCP (HT or HTL) certification required

**Must-Have:**

- Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel
- Two references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for
- Active required certifications with nothing pending

**Description:**

Perform routine and developmental immunohistochemistry and molecular laboratory techniques. Analyze and evaluate assays for sensitivity and specificity. Embed and prepare sections for various procedures. Handle assessments for ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required with a maximum of two attempts allowed. Must be nicotine-free and pass a Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) Drug screen within 12 months of the start. Complete BCI/FBI prints within 48 hours of signing the contract. Orientation includes 40 hours of training.
