**Job Description:**

- The position may require floating between units.
- Weekend shifts are required based on the needs of the unit.
- Block schedules are not necessary.
- Expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2.
- Experience in Labor and Delivery is required.
- This facility is a Short Term Acute Care hospital with Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center designations.
- A teaching hospital with a total of 629 staffed beds.
- Charting is done using Epic software.
- Orientation is provided with 40 non-billable hours.
- Compliance documents must be submitted by the Monday before the start date.
- All requested time off or specific scheduling must be submitted upfront.
- Modules (average 16 hours) must be completed pre-start and annually, with self-reported completion recorded in Workramp transcripts.
- COVID-19 vaccine is not required; flu vaccine requirement is unknown.
- Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities. Refusal to float may lead to assignment termination and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
- References: Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting.
