Total Rewards Analyst

The Client focuses on proven hydrocarbon fields with significant upside potential to leverage in-house technical, operational and basin expertise with repurposed infrastructure. The Client's team of highly skilled E&P professionals in all disciplines have demonstrated success in major basins around the world.
They are actively looking for a Houston, TX based Total Rewards Analyst play a critical role in the design, implementation, and administration of the company's Total Rewards program. The Total Rewards Analyst supports the Total Rewards Manager by researching, providing analytics, and participating in project work as needed in meeting crucial business-linked goals.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and administration of total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, and performance management.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive pay practices and maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
- Participate in compensation and benefits surveys to collect and analyze data for use in determining our total rewards strategy.
- Support the annual compensation review process, including merit increases, promotions, and adjustments.
- Collaborate with HR and other cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and streamline workflows.
- Analyze total rewards data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain documentation for total rewards processes, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to compensation and benefits.
- Provide guidance and support to HR partners and business leaders on total rewards-related issues and inquiries.
- Assist in the development and delivery of total rewards training and communications to employees and managers.
Authorities:
The holder of this position has the necessary authorities to carry out the responsibilities stated above.
This position's financial authority will be specified in the Client's authorization matrix.
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits analysis, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present data to inform decision-making.
- Experience in process improvement, with a focus on streamlining workflows and enhancing efficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to a diverse audience.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
- Global mindset, with a sensitivity to and willingness to work across cultures and time zones.
- Pro-active self-starter who can quickly adapt and upskill to new project requirements and apply their knowledge and skills to countries across the globe.
- Knowledge of compensation and benefits best practices, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, as well as HRIS systems and other compensation/benefits tools.
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
