**Job Description:**
- Work in an Ortho/Surgical unit with 35 beds
- Collaborate with a team including 1 charge/CNC, 6 RNs, 3 PCTs, and 1 unit clerk during day shifts; similar staffing for night shifts
- Manage patient ratios of 1:5, 1:6
- Utilize equipment such as Computers on Wheels, Hospira pumps, and IMOBILE phones
- Maintain electronic medical records using MEDITECH
- Perform procedures including bariatric surgeries (gastric bypass, gastric sleeves), orthopedic surgeries (total hip replacements, total knee replacements), and general surgeries (laparoscopic cholecystectomy, laparoscopic appendectomies)
- Ideal candidates are team players with a positive attitude
- Expected to float to Med/Renal, Oncology, Med/Surg Tele, CVTS, and Telemetry as needed
- Adhere to the dress code, including wearing navy scrub tops and pants, maintaining clean and neat hair, and covering body art whenever possible
- Follow attendance policies including working 4 weekend shifts in a schedule or 2 full weekends

General Comments: This position is being filled due to vacancy and requires a candidate who can begin as soon as possible to maintain the standard of care on the unit.
