Position: Travel Registered Nurse

Location: Memphis, Tennessee

Schedule: Night (3x12 Hours) 7:00 19:00

Unit: CVPICU

What You'll Do:

As a CVP ICU Travel RN, you will have the unique opportunity to work in diverse healthcare settings, gaining valuable experience while making a meaningful impact on patients recovering from complex cardiovascular surgeries. Your dedication to excellence and adaptability will be key in delivering top-tier care to critically ill patients during their most vulnerable moments.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and assess patients' cardiovascular status, including hemodynamic monitoring, ECG interpretation, and management of life support equipment.
  • Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosages and adherence to protocols.
  • Perform advanced nursing procedures, including central line care, ventilator management, and complex wound care.
  • Provide comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated and effective patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Respond to medical emergencies, initiate appropriate interventions, and participate in code blue and rapid response teams.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with all safety and infection control protocols.


Requirements:
  • RN license in State of Assignment or compact license
  • 2 years of experience as a traveler 3 years with no travel
  • Must live 100 miles from facility
  • Covid Vaccine
  • Flu Vaccine
