**Job Title:** Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer

**Shift:** Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum of 5 years required

**License:** Valid state license required (pending licenses accepted)

**Certifications:** BLS required, RDCS-Adult preferred

**Must-Have:**
- EPIC charting experience preferred
- RDCS credential strongly preferred, but RCS with strong experience considered
- Critical thinking, strong time management, and physical endurance

**Job Description:**

- Work four 10-hour day shifts with a rotating day off each week.
- Participate in a fair rotation of Saturday coverage, with an additional day off during the week and holiday rotation coverage for pre and post-holiday shifts.
- Handle unplanned absences, subject to being made up on a different day within the same week at the manager's discretion.
- Manage patient age groups including adults and geriatrics.
- Contribute to a fully accredited echocardiography lab supporting advanced protocols for a large academic medical campus.
- Manage a high daily volume, demanding critical thinking and strong time management skills.
- Agency staff will not participate in stress testing or TEE coverage.
- Vascular experience is not necessary as it is separate from the required echocardiography experience.
- Male travelers must follow grooming standards for successful FIT testing.
- Preference for left-handed scanning due to room setup and ergonomic recommendations.
- General skills required include PACS, and experience with GE, Bubble Study, Contrast Agents, and M-Mode.
- Preferred skills include portables, biopsies, Vascular-Arterial, Phillips, 3/D Echo, RIT/RVOT, LVAD, ECMO turn down, and congenital procedures.
