**License:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health (NIH) Certification

**Must-Have:** At least 1 year of experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting

**Job Description:**

- Care for patients in a Stepdown Intermediate Care environment with a capacity of 36 beds.
- Serve a patient population ranging from young adults to late adults (ages 18 to 60+).
- Manage diverse medical needs, including:
- Continuous Bipap
- Low-dose vasopressors
- Trauma patients
- Lumbar drains
- CIWA protocol patients on higher doses of Ativan
- Hyponatremia
- Emergency dialysis
- Hyperkalemia
- Antifreeze ingestion cases
- Patients with home ventilators (tracheostomy care)
- Sheath removal and care after carotid endarterectomy (CEA)
- Rhabdomyolysis management
- Precedex administration
- Stroke patients requiring Q2 neuro checks
- Stable craniotomies
- Fentanyl drips
- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
- Adhere to established protocols and standards while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
