**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Specialty:** Medical Surgical

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30)

**Guaranteed Hours:** Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years' experience required; No first-time candidates accepted

**License:** Must have an active state license or be in the application process

**Certifications:** BLS required

**Must-Have:**
- Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response experience with Telemetry
- Remote monitoring and use of Rapid Response Teams
- Gastrointestinal case skills such as colostomy care and feeding tube management
- Genitourinary/Renal case skills including pre/post hemodialysis management and renal failure care
- IV Therapy/Phlebotomy skills including accessing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draw, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, and starting IVs
- Medication administration experience with heparin, insulin, and PCA
- Respiratory case skills such as CPAP/BiPAP, HFNC, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oral suctioning, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tank, and tracheostomy management
- Professional knowledge and skills in isolation precautions and wound care with wound VAC
- Experience with Cerner charting system

**Job Description:**

- Provide high-quality nursing care in a Level II Trauma center with 372 staffed beds
- Work night shifts with an average daily census of 35 patients
- Engage in patient monitoring and respond rapidly to emergencies
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies
- Perform specialized care in gastrointestinal, renal, cardiac, respiratory cases
- Ensure adherence to isolation protocols and conduct wound care
- Collaborate with Rapid Response Teams when required
- Participate in floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliated hospitals as per facility needs
- Engage with the Cerner charting system effectively
- Complete orientation and virtual modules as required
