Vancouver, United States Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery Full time
About Us:
Rebound is the largest orthopedic and neurosurgical practice in the Portland-Vancouver area with an array of subspecialties including orthopedics, neurosurgery, sports medicine, physiatry, neurology, hand therapy, and physical therapy.

We are proud to be the team physicians for the Portland Trail Blazers, the Portland Winterhawks and several collegiate teams. This year, we are celebrating 53 years of service to our patients and the community.

We are an established and growing physician-owned practice consisting of 20 fellowship trained orthopedic surgeons, 7 neurosurgeons, 4 physiatrists, and 2 primary care sports medicine physicians. We have a full complement of PAs and NPs. We have in-house physical therapy in multiple locations in Oregon and Washington employing 32 Physical Therapists. We have our own hand therapy practice, employing 5 hand therapists to support our hand surgeons. We operate 2 full body MRI scanners, and one extremity CT scanner.

We work out of PeaceHealth Southwest Washington Medical Center (PHSW), Legacy Salmon Creek and Southwest Washington Regional Surgery Center--an 8-room outpatient surgery center that we own and operate. We have had an exclusive contract to staff the Level II PHSW Orthopedic Trauma Program since January 2009. We anticipate trauma volume to grow from 1500 cases to 2000 cases in the next few years and seek candidates with orthopedic trauma fellowship training who are looking to join an orthopedic trauma team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a program that is well-supported by the hospital, with ready access to sub-specialty support providing a comprehensive set of orthopedic and spine surgical services and consults. This position is a single-facility, single-location opportunity.

Rebound is headquartered in Southwest Washington just across the river from Portland, Oregon and all our clinics are a short drive to beaches or mountains with endless options for outdoor recreation. Hiking trails, parks, excellent schools, arts and culture, breweries and vineyards, fine dining and food carts are abundant in our region.

About you:

You have completed or are in training in an orthopedic trauma fellowship. You are looking forward to a fast pace and challenging work, and building the premier trauma service in SW Washington.

You thrive in a collegial and collaborative environment, surrounded by accomplished professionals who have a strong commitment to work-life balance.

The successful candidate will have a commitment to patient care and providing expert innovative medical care. They will support an environment that reinforces Rebound’s mission and core values of Superior Service, Teamwork, Integrity, Innovation, Quality and Recognition.
