**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health

**Job Specialty:** Behavioral Health

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 or 48 hours per week

**Experience:** 2+ years in Behavioral Health Unit, Psychiatric experience required

**License:** Active state RN license

**Certifications:** Mandatory reporter certification (Child and Adult)

**Must-Have:** Travel experience is required

**Job Description:**

- Provide nursing care to a patient population primarily consisting of adults aged 18-65.
- Handle patient cases involving anxiety, depression, manic disorders, borderline personality, and suicidal ideation.
- Accommodate a patient ratio of approximately 1:6 within a 14-bed unit.
- Utilize MediTech Electronic Health Records for documentation.
- Maintain compliance with all onboarding requirements, including criminal background checks, child abuse clearance, and a 10-panel drug screening.
- Able to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility if necessary.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to offer individualized and seamless care.
- Exhibit a high degree of professionalism and adaptability in various stressful or challenging situations.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to compassionately interact with patients and their families.
- Adhere to the facility’s dress code policy for nursing staff.

*Note: Housing options are available. Orientation hours will be provided, and the facility allows Monday or Tuesday start dates.*
