**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Specialty:** Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

**Job Duration:** 13 Weeks

**Shift:** Day - 3x12 - 7am - 7pm

**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 Hours

**Experience:** Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in ICU is preferred.

**License:** Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice is required.

**Certifications:**
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification upon hire or obtained within 60 days of hire with prior approval.
- ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for the unit is preferred.

**Must-Have:**
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- A Registered Nurse with an ASN/ADN degree must complete a BSN degree within four (4) years unless exempt due to prior continuous experience.

**Job Description:**

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with accepted practice standards.
- Evaluate health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data.
- Perform health teaching and health counseling.
- Provide supportive and restorative therapy and treatment, directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching.
- Execute delegated medical functions.
- Refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment.
- Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
- Document in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
- Use resources as needed.
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization and abide by service behavior standards.
- May be required to float to other departments based on business needs.
- May be required to be on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
- Must satisfactorily perform each essential duty, with reasonable accommodations made for individuals with disabilities, if necessary.
