**Experience:** Minimum of 1 year of MR experience in high-volume environments preferred
**License:** State license as required
**Certifications:** ARRT (R) required, ARRT (MR) preferred, CPR certification - BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association only, Venipuncture Certification required
**Must-Have:** Proficiency operating GE 1.5T or other designated vendor scanning equipment, Siemens Avanta experience

**Job Description:**
- Operate imaging and related equipment to provide high-quality diagnostic images on various areas of the body, including areas of advanced study.
- Interview patients to explain MRI procedures and address any concerns, ensuring a high degree of tact, courtesy, and poise.
- Ensure patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications and performing aseptic injection techniques.
- Communicate effectively with customers and radiologists.
- Train new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators, providing direction, checking, and qualifying work performed.
- Troubleshoot the scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment (including monitors, PACS, coils, etc.) to ensure effective operations and prevent downtime in patient care. Escalate complex issues as appropriate.
- Demonstrate patient care skills with the ability to explain complex medical terms and procedures in a manner understandable by a non-medical audience.
- Handle local travel as required.

**Comments:**
- Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday for two weeks, then Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday for two weeks, with 7 days off between rotations.
- Work primarily in specified locations, with additional locations as needed.
- Previous experience managing customer interactions independently and resolving problems to mutual satisfaction is preferred.
