We are committed to excellence in early childhood education and are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Infant Teacher.
Position Overview: As an Infant Teacher at The Learning Experience, you will play a vital role in the care and education of our youngest learners. You will work with infants aged 6 weeks to 12 months, providing a safe, loving, and enriching environment that promotes their physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of infant development, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create a warm and nurturing environment where infants feel safe, loved, and secure.
* Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote learning and development.
* Provide responsive and individualized care to meet the unique needs of each infant.
* Foster positive relationships with infants, families, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.
* Observe and document children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
* Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and center policies related to health, safety, and sanitation.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; CDA, Associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education, or related field preferred.
* At least one year of experience working with infants in a childcare setting.
* Knowledge of infant development and best practices in early childhood education.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.
* CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
* Ability to pass background checks required by state regulations.

The Learning Experience

Our curriculum focuses on the six ages and stages of early childhood development and engages children in hands-on learning activities that encourage them to explore and solve problems at their own rate of development. This forms a foundation for kids to Learn, Play and Grow under the care of our nurturing teachers and staff.
At TLE, we've created a full cast of characters that become our little learners' educators, partners and friends through their preschool education journey. Each character has a unique personality and area of interest and brings learning to life by allowing children to explore the world through fun and imagination.
