Requisition Summary

Peterbilt Motors Company is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist for our Division Office located in Denton, Texas. This position performs a variety of Accounts Payable related functions and reports to the General Accounting Supervisor. A successful AP Specialist provides excellent customer service by working with contacts to resolve issues and validate missing or incorrect information.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

* Responsible for invoice processing, matching of PO and receiver to invoices, verifying proper approval per authority matrix
* Accounts Payable related research and issue resolution
* Provide customer service to internal and external customers
* Perform vendor statement reconciliations and analysis
* Special projects as assigned

Skills / Competencies

* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to research and problem solve
* Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel
* SAP experience a plus

Education/Experience

* Minimum 2 years accounting related experience preferred
* AA or BA degree preferred
