The Federal Work-Study program at Clackamas Community College (April 2024 - March 2025) is a federal financial aid program that provides CCC students with part-time, temporary employment to offset college expenses.

Job Description Summary:.
The Office of Institutional Research designs and implements research to support all divisions of the College. This position provides support to the office through administrative related duties.
Essential Job Functions:
The work study student in the Office of Institutional Research and Reporting will work on data- or survey-related projects. The specific tasks will depend on the student's interest and abilities.
Responsibilities May include:
Surveys & Research
* Create infographics for college-wide survey results.
* Help develop IR's survey program, including developing training/manuals.
* Help with student focus groups and survey promotion.
* Use ChatGPT to summarize research articles and blog posts and review for accuracy.
Geospatial Analysis
* Produce maps of the Service District with demographic information.
Data Governance & Literacy
* Work on the Data Governance program (e.g., data classification, data security)
* Help develop the Employee Data Literacy program.
Business Intelligence (Power BI)
* Refresh external datasets (e.g., Dept of Ed K-12 data) and create reports.
* Develop Power BI templates.
* Create reports about CCC's Service District using public data (e.g., Census Bureau)
Training & Video Production
* Help write video scripts and create training videos on a variety of topics.
Qualifications
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Geospatial Analysis: Familiarity and some experience with ESRI's products.

Physicals Demands of the Position:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, communicate, reach and manipulate objects. The position requires mobility including the ability to move materials weighing up to 5 pounds on a regular basis such as files, books, office equipment, etc., and may infrequently require moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 50% of the work period while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, calculator, and standard office equipment.
Working Conditions:
Usual office working conditions. The noise level in the work area is typical of most office environments with telephones, personal interruptions, and background noises.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervision of other personnel is not a typical function assigned to this position.
Supervision Received:
Works under the general direction of the Director of Institutional Research & Reporting.

Annual Security Report:
