Sigma Healthcare team is currently looking for Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work onsite at our client's location.

Shift : 8:00 hr - Days
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols and standards.
  • Perform imaging procedures utilizing a range of nuclear medicine equipment and techniques.
  • Analyze images for technical quality and interpret findings to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and communicate results to referring physicians.
  • Provide education and instructions to patients regarding procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure proper handling and disposal of radioactive materials in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Current State of Georgia licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • Knowledge of radiation protection principles and techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have PET experience
