JOB SUMMARY

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and minor building maintenance. Ensuring safe and efficient building operations while assisting maintenance mechanics in routine troubleshooting and repairs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

* Performs basic preventative maintenance and routine repairs on various in-house systems to include conveyor, material handling equipment, tagging machines, storage equipment, vehicles, etc. Assists in troubleshooting and lubricates, adjusts and replaces parts.
* Performs maintenance services in two or more skill areas, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, electrical, heating, etc. may perform basic maintenance duties such as minor construction, landscaping, cleaning, etc.
* Assists maintenance mechanics in major equipment repairs, electrical repairs and installations in accordance with established safety procedures. Requisitions new supplies and equipment as necessary.
* Performs special projects or duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

* Minimum High School Diploma or higher
* Vocational training in basic preventative maintenance is preferred
* Six months to one year experience in a preventative maintenance capacity with demonstrated mechanical knowledge
* Ability to work with limited supervision
* Be flexible with changing hours, demands, and priorities

This position has a starting pay range of $21.00 - $23.50 per hour based on education and experience, with an additional $1.50/hour shift differential pay.

Shift for this position is scheduled for Monday - Friday, 6:00pm - 2:30am.
