Key responsibilities:

* Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data. Schedules and coordinates tests, records test results.
* Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
* Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
* Requires a two year allied health degree, successful completion of an approved one-year program in Ultrasound.
* Reports to the Director of Imaging

Qualifications:

* Requires registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)


* Must have RVT credential and be experienced in breast, OB/GYN, and general US imaging
* Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credential is required


* OB/GYN experience must include biophysical profiles


* Breast Imaging must include experience in biopsies


* Experience in Echocardiography is preferred, but not required
